There are more than 900 Methodist members in the Circuit, belonging to 24 different churches. The Circuit deploys a staff team of presbyters and lay workers -- under the leadership of Superintendent, Rev. Rob Hilton -- that works alongside numerous committed volunteers.
As well as offering worship in various styles, we seek mission outreach and engagement in local communities. This is offered in the form of toddler groups, woodwork, choirs, dementia support, lunch groups, foodbank and debt advice, craft sessions and more, many of which address issues of social isolation and mental health and wellbeing. New ways of being church have developed including The Haven Project (Crewe) Oakhanger Outdoor Activities Project (near Alsager) and Poole Quiet Garden (Nantwich), while also creatively supporting smaller and elderly congregations. We are a Fairtrade Circuit.
