On Tuesday the 4th of August The Sunday club had their summer outing and decided to go to Tatton Park. Despite rather a cold summer day we managed to miss the rain and an enjoyable time was had by all.
We started the day at the adventure playground and went whizzing down the zip wire, flying high on the swings and climbed high on almost everything! Before lunch all the children had a ride on the Victorian merry go round.
The weather stayed fine for our picnic lunch and having managed to defeat the wasps we were. all ready to tackle the farm.
Once inside with goat food in the bag we set off to explore. We visited the cows, horses donkeys and goats, who managed to eat the bags as well as the food! But the highlight was definitely holding the chicks from the hatchery!
Next we walked through the piggery before tackling the obstacle course in the woods which was very popular.
Last but not least we all finished off with an ice cream before the journey home.
A wonderful day!
