The church and its community centre is a hub of activity situated in the heart of Sandbach.
As part of this community our mission is to follow Christ's call to care for others, being a relevant and welcoming presence, challenging injustice, and cherishing creation. We aim to grow, bringing the good news of Jesus Christ to people of all ages. We want to be followers who love and encourage each other, so that we learn and grow in faith together, being open to God in different forms of worship, celebrating God's love, and responding with obedient lives.

The church building is large and well-kept, suited to traditional worship with its fine organ, gallery and high pulpit. The Wesley Centre is the hub of the church's activities within the Sandbach community, hosting Messy church, Stepping Stones, Community Lunches, Saturday Coffee mornings, Indoor bowls, concerts and other events. Also based in the Centre are the Sandbach Food Bank and the Lifeline Debt Advice service. Affiliated to Community Money Advice, this service is run by trained members from Wesley Avenue and other churches in Sandbach. Monthly all-age worship is held in the Wesley Centre, as are evening services which are varied and informal in style. There is a weekly Thursday morning service which is well supported. Fellowship groups meet for bible sharing and discussion.
