A little history......

Previously known as Elworth Mount Pleasant the church was started in a local Wire works in 1861 and the present building built in 1888 with the addition of further buildings throughout its history.

Where are we?

The Church entrance is on Station Road directly opposite Sandbach Railway station and community centre entranceon London Road (main Sandbach to Middlewich road) opposite Elworth park.


10.30am. Morning service — our aim is to enjoy a high standard of All Age Worship once a month, which is suitable for all ages.
.Our Boys' Brigade Company join with us for their Enrolment Service in September and again in November for the Remembrance Service.
Other Sundays will have a more structured style of worship including a combination of traditional and contemporary hymns/worship songs, an exploration of God's Word for today and a monthly celebration of Holy Communion.

5.30pm. — 7.15pm. Brownies

Tuesday: 9.45am. — 11.00am. Line Dancing
10.00am. — l.30pm. Light refreshments
5.00pm. — 6.00pm. Boys' Brigade — Anchor Section
6.15pm. — 7.30pm. Boys' Brigade — Junior Section
7.30pm. — 9.30pm. Boys' Brigade — Company Section

Thursday: 2.00pm. — 4.00pm. Painting for Pleasure
7.30pm. Allsorts

Friday: 8.00pm. Badminton

We are a Fairtrade church and have an Eco-friendly church award .

Community contacts:
We work together with the Elworth Park Committee and the Elworth Railway Station Committee.

3rd Sunday in the month service at 2.30pm. at Turnpike Court Care Home.

Remembrance service at War Memorial organised when we are joined by members of the Anglican church and local community.
Involvement with Women's World Day of Prayer.
