DR JILL BARBER VICE PRESIDENT OF THE METHODIST CONFERENCE 2015/16

The recent Methodist Conference at Birmingham, attended by, Revd Bill Anderson, Dr Jill Barber Patrick Darnes and Ian White from our Circuit, appointed Jill Barber to be Vice President of the Methodist Conference from 2015 to 2016.
Many will know that Jill is Director at Englesea Brook Heritage Centre and was recently accredited to the office of Local Preacher at a service held at Nantwich Methodist Church.

The Vice Presidency is a hugely significant post in Methodism and we are delighted that Jill has been appointed to it.

The Vice President of Conference is the senior lay person in the Connexion and represents the Church nationally at many events and in many places across the country and abroad. In addition Jill will co-chair the 2015 Conference at Southport along with the incoming President Revd Stephen Wild.
We are confident that the Circuit will greatly benefit from Jill's experiences during her Vice Presidential year and we assure her of our prayers and support as she prepares to take office.
